He has been involved in many workplace drug testing court cases at all levels. He is an award-winning
subject matter expert who has written and edited numerous articles and publications. Bill regularly
shares his industry expertise and thought leadership at local, regional, and national speaking events.

Nick Hartman

Managing Partner, Consultant – Drug Screening Compliance Institute (DSCI)

Nick is an Accredited Drug Screening Industry Consultant, advisor, subject matter expert, professional
researcher, trainer, and speaker who has built, implemented, and managed drug-free workplace
programs for thousands of employers across the U.S. and abroad for over 17 years.
The Drug Screening Compliance Institute (DSCI) focuses on state, federal, case law, and subject-specific
compliance research, policy, training, education, litigation support, research, and consulting.

Gauri Bhalakia

President of ARCpoint Labs of Southborough-Framingham and Worcester

Gauri Bhalakia is the President of ARCpoint Labs of Southborough-Framingham and Worcester. Since starting
ARCpoint Labs of Southborough-Framingham in 2016, Gauri has worked with employers in public and private (DOT and non-DOT) sectors providing assistance and risk mitigation strategies, through pre-employment
screening, policy assistance, drug and alcohol testing, DOT physicals, respirator fit testing, wellness
and occupational health services.

Jimmy Platt

President of ARCpoint Labs of Las Vegas

Jimmy Platt has owned and ran the arcpoint labs Las Vegas facility since 2009. The Las Vegas team provides drug and alcohol testing services to many local businesses including casinos, construction companies and manufacturers. There are more than 300 transportation companies, DOT and NTA, in the arcpoint Las Vegas random program consortiums. Arcpoint provides 24-hour post incident, and reasonable suspicion cover for airlines at Harry Reid International and local manufacturers.

Jimmy is a certified BAT trainer and Breath Alcohol Technician. He is an experienced trainer on Reasonable Suspicion for Supervisors and Management.

Ryan West

Founder and President of WorkSafe International

Ryan West is the founder and President of WorkSafe International and proud partner of ARCpoint
Labs. Having collectively served as a drug and alcohol counselor, clinical evaluator, employee
assistance professional, and workplace trainer and consultant for nearly 17 years, Ryan fully
understands the link between employee health and wellbeing and employee safety and
performance. 

Among other credentials, he is a DOT-Qualified Substance Abuse Professional, Certified Employee
Assistance Professional, and current President of the Indiana Chapter of the Employee Assistance
Professionals Association. He holds a master’s degree in organizational psychology and is presently
a doctoral student at Penn State University, College of Education, Workforce Education and
Development specialization. Ryan resides in Zionsville, Indiana with his wife and three children.
