What’s Included

  • Estradiol: Is the main form of estrogen. Estrogen excess due to a testosterone or androgen deficiency will be tested in this kit.
  • Testosterones: Low testosterone levels reduce muscle mass and calorie expenditure. Testosterone deficiency can cause weight gain over time. Testosterone impacts muscle athletic performance.
  • DHEA-S: DHEA (dehydroepiandrosterone) is a naturally existing hormone that the body converts into androgens, mainly testosterone.
  • Cortisol : Cortisol is known as the “stress hormone”. When you are stressed, cortisol levels rise causing higher insulin levels. Blood sugar drops causing one to crave sugary, fatty foods. Increased cortisol levels also cause abdominal fat.
  • T3 Free & T4 Free : measurements are used to diagnose and monitor treatment of hyperthyroidism. Many hypothyroid patients struggle with weight gain and weight loss resistance due to T3 and T4 levels. Both of these hormones regulate metabolism.
  • TSH (Thyroid Stimulating Hormone) : provides differential diagnosis of primary, secondary, and tertiary hypothyroidism. Thyroid issues are often directly linked to weight issues and fatigue.
  • Thyroid Peroxidase (TPO) : helps diagnose thyroid diseases such as endemic goiter, Graves Disease, autoimmune thyroiditis, Addison’s Disease, insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus, Hashimoto’s Disease and polyendocrine auto-immunopathies. The thyroid is one of the most essential glands to regulate overall health and it happens to be the one most easily damaged by toxins, nutrient deficiencies, and stress.
