CPK(CREATINE KINASE)

The CPK (Creatine Kinase) test measures levels of an enzyme found in skeletal muscle, heart muscle, and other tissues to help evaluate muscle injury or damage. It may be ordered for patients experiencing symptoms such as muscle pain, weakness, swelling, cramping, dark-colored urine, or unexplained fatigue. CPK testing supports the assessment of conditions involving muscle breakdown, injury, or inflammation and helps guide appropriate clinical management.
