DNA Testing

Paternity

Questions of paternity often cause undue stress on parents, children, and families. Fortunately, a child’s paternity can be determined easily with a simple, noninvasive cheek swab.

Whether you would like to determine paternity for your own personal information or you need court-admissible results for legal proceedings, ARCpoint Labs can help you choose the best test to meet your needs.

Donor unavailable? There are a variety of ways to determine paternity, even if you don’t have a sample directly from the potential father. Paternity can be determined by using specimens from grandparents, aunts, or uncles. Paternal testing can even be performed before a child is born through our prenatal paternity tests using a simple blood draw from the mother after the eighth week of pregnancy.

Ancestry

Have you ever wondered where your family originated? Not just your parents or grandparents, but generations back? More and more people are now interested in their heritage and understanding where their ancestors were from.

Our ancestry DNA tests can tell you your family background, what geographic regions your ancestors came from, what populations you are most closely related to today, and much more. Discover your ethnic origins and connect to your past.

Infidelity

If you suspect your spouse or significant other is being unfaithful, our infidelity DNA tests can help you determine the truth and help you decide the next steps in your relationship.

Our infidelity DNA test can match genetic material found on many different items (such as linens, undergarments, tissues, or clothing) to your spouse’s genetic makeup.

Our trained staff can help ensure a documented chain of custody, should you need the results admitted as evidence in a court case. Infidelity is never easy, but knowing the truth can help you make an informed decision.

Immigration

If you are working with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services and/or the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, ARCpoint can help you with securing court-permissible DNA tests. We work with AABB-accredited labs.

*Services vary by location. Contact your local ARCpoint Labs for additional information.

Immigration

If you or someone in your family is interested in immigrating to the United States, you may need a DNA test to show familial relationship. The immigration process can be confusing and challenging, but proving your family relationship shouldn’t have to be.

Many different types of immigration DNA tests can help with the immigration process. Some typical tests include:

  • Maternity DNA – This test verifies DNA matches in legitimate mother/child relationships.
  • Paternity DNA – This test verifies DNA matches in legitimate father/child relationships.
  • Kinship DNA – A kinship test identifies a legitimate relationship between two or more individuals who claim a biological relationship, such as a niece or nephew/aunt or uncle, child/grandparent.

ARCpoint sends all immigration DNA test to AABB-accredited laboratories for analysis, as is required by the US government for all immigration testing. We cannot guarantee your visa acceptance through our DNA tests and recommend that you consult with a US Department of State or your embassy representative to verify which relationships meet the immigration criteria for your situation.
