Services at ARCpoint Labs
The specific testing services you need largely depend on your testing goals, as well as the specific substances you are concerned about. Our professional, knowledgeable team can help you determine which of the following options best fits your needs.
Saliva Drug Testing
A saliva drug test is a rapid results method that offers instant results, with positive result verification within one to three days. This test is capable of detecting the presence of drug(s) immediately after ingestion.
Urine Drug Screening and Testing
A urine drug screen offers a simple and instant method to detect if there are drugs in a patient’s system. Urine tests, on the other hand, are not instant, but they meet the requirements of federally mandated testing. Urine testing provides the ideal option for legally permissible test results, providing verification of a positive test within a few days.
Hair Drug Testing
A hair drug test detects drug usage over a span of 90 days or longer, making it a good option for testing for long-term drug use.
Nail Drug Testing
A nail drug test is capable of measuring drug use over a six-month span, providing results in 3 to 5 business days. It’s an ideal alternative to the hair test, offering a “big picture” report.
Other Types of Drug Testing We Offer
In addition to the above testing services, ARCpoint Labs also offers an array of other testing options:
- 5 Panel Drug Tests
- 10 Panel Drug Tests
- Prescription Drug Testing
- Synthetic Drug Testing

How Long Do Results for Lab Drug Tests Take?
Most results are ready within two days to one week. Some tests can take longer than others.
Can Drug Tests Detect Alcohol?
Yes. Alcohol can be included in a drug test.
Not all employers will test for alcohol, or if they do test they may do so separate from a drug screening. Alcohol testing is usually included for government positions and industries where there are public safety risks to alcohol consumption.
How Long Can Alcohol Be Detected on Drug & Alcohol Tests?
Alcohol can be detected in urine tests for 24 hours. Higher concentrations can be found past 24 hours. More advanced testing can detect alcohol past 72 hours.
Alcohol can be detected by a breathalyzer 12 to 24 hours after consumption.
The length of time that can be tested depends on the length of the hair. A sample that is at least 3cm can usually detect alcohol for the past 90 days.
Like hair tests, fingernail tests can usually detect alcohol usage for up to 90 days. In some cases, these tests can detect alcohol use as far back as 6 to 12 months.
Does a Failed DOT Drug Test Go on Your Record?
Yes. The results will remain on your record with the Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse for at least three years.
Trips to the doctor’s office are inconvenient, time-consuming, and expensive. At ARCpoint Labs, we empower people to make informed decisions about their own health with easy, convenient, and confidential lab testing.
