PT w/ INR (Prothrombin Time)

The Prothrombin Time with INR blood test measures how long it takes your blood to clot. This test is commonly used to screen for clotting disorders, evaluate abnormalities in coagulation factors involved in the extrinsic pathway, and monitor the effects of Warfarin therapy. It may also help assess patients with hereditary or acquired bleeding and clotting conditions.
