MMRV Evaluation

The Measles, Mumps, Rubella, and Varicella (MMRV) Test is a blood test that measures your immunity to measles, mumps, rubella, and chickenpox (varicella). It is commonly used to verify vaccination status or determine whether you’ve had past exposure or infection.
Each of these diseases can cause different symptoms. Measles often leads to fever and a distinctive rash, mumps is associated with swollen salivary glands, rubella typically causes a mild fever and rash, and varicella (chickenpox) is known for its itchy, blister-like rash and fever.
The MMRV Test supports public health efforts by confirming adequate immunity and identifying individuals who may be vulnerable. Detecting susceptibility early helps prevent outbreaks, reduce complications, and guide vaccination decisions to protect both individual health and the broader community.
