Investigation of symptoms suggesting epithelial ovarian carcinoma (EOC) (bloating, pelvic or abdominal pain, difficulty eating or feeling full quickly, urinary urgency or frequency)

Serial monitoring for treatment response and to predict recurrence

Evaluation of adnexal (occurs in or near the uterus, ovaries, fallopian tubes, and connective tissues) mass

Screen for EOC in women with a confirmed ovarian cancer syndrome (eg, BRCA or Lynch syndrome) (Ueland 2019)

Not recommended for ovarian cancer screening in the general population
